Sigma Aviation is delighted to present this NEW opportunity for Head of Charter Sales with base in Europe.

Our client is one of the leaders in Business Aviation, Transaction and Completion services. For over 15 years, they have been Engineering luxury for VIP customers looking for personal and professional management of their private aviation needs: aircraft sales and acquisitions, aircraft operations and charter management, cabin interiors, maintenance and upgrades.

 

Candidates must hold previous experience in aviation, ideally Private Aviation and the right to work and live in Europe.

 

The main responsibilities are:

Managing a team of Charter Sales Managers and Regional Sales Directors;

Reaching the budgeted charter numbers per aircraft;

Generating charter sales, selling & coordinating charter flights on company fleet and brokerage of sub-charter flights;

Managing assigned key accounts and repeat business;

Developing strategic sales plans and sales objectives;

Establishing strong relationship with Clients;

Keeping up to date with recent market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies;

Representing the organisation at conferences, air shows and other industry-related events;

Providing high standard of customer service and keeping in close contact with customers;

Liaising with other departments when required (including Operational Control Centre, Maintenance, Flight Operations, Finance and HR) and top Management;

Supporting the CEO with presentations and preparations for board meetings;

Identifying business opportunities;

Supporting the team with the overall workload.

 

This position calls for:

A target-driven, proactive Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in the business aviation sector;

An entrepreneurial mind-set and strong commercial spirit with outstanding communication skills;

Strong negotiation and analytical skills;

Proven experience in sales, managing relationships with key clients as well as an in-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis;

An excellent command of the English language and other languages to reach a wide customer base;

Flexible working approach and full dedication to the job is required (24/7);

Willingness to travel if/when required.
