An opportunity has become open for the role of Airworthiness Manager within an Airline
based in Africa.

The Continued Airworthiness (CAMO) Post Holder will report to the Chief Operations
Officer – COO. In this challenging position you will assume the overall responsibility for
the Continuing Airworthiness Management Department within the CAMO, which
consists of but not limited to the aircraft maintenance management and the
management supervisor functions and must ensure that the functions and/or personnel
are performing their work in an effective and satisfactory manner to the satisfaction of
the Accountable Manager and the local aviation authorities.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor degree Aviation (or equivalent by experience)
• Aircraft Engineer’s license
• Minimum of 5 years aircraft maintenance experience in production, planning or
engineering functions.
• People manager, communicator and team player
• Strong negotiator on financial as well as technical fields
• Ability to translate strategic vision into project plans and tangible time phased actions
• Financial knowledge of cost accounting and investment analysis and the impact on the
Profit & Loss
• Administrative and analytical skills
• Good IT skills: MS Office, databases
• Good language skills: Fluent in English
• Training experience is an added advantage
